Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture

At The Ambry Clinic we are proud to offer natural facial rejuvenation treatments that blend traditional acupuncture techniques with the modern use of microneedling pens.
Facial cosmetic acupuncture has long been the go-to treatment for individuals seeking a natural, non-surgical alternative to Botox and dermal fillers. Acupuncture techniques offer a beautiful approach to rejuvenation, using exceptionally fine needles to stimulate the skin and deeper underlying tissues, supporting circulation, tone, elasticity and overall skin quality. The aim is fresh, healthy, revitalised skin: softer-looking lines, improved tone and a natural sense of brightness and vitality. Most importantly, facial acupuncture works with your face rather than against it. Your natural expression remains completely your own. The intention is not to change who you are, or to have a frozen forehead but to help you look rested, refreshed and beautifully yourself.
Microneedling also uses very fine needles to create tiny, controlled channels in the skin, stimulating its natural repair processes and supporting collagen and elastin production. It can help improve skin texture, tone and the appearance of fine lines. Similar to acupuncture in that results are usually seen after 2-3 treatments at around the 3 month mark.
What’s the difference between Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture and Microneedling?
Well, microneedling pens target the superficial layer of our faces which is the skin. Acupuncture needles go deeper, into the underlying fascia and muscles. Careful and targeted insertion of acupuncture needles at motor points can release tension in the facial muscles, smooth expression lines, and lift sagging areas. Both treatments take time to see results – both are stimulating the tissues to regenerate but at different depths. Facial acupuncture also includes a whole person assessment and sometimes treatment - our whole physical and mental health is reflected in our faces, whereas microneedling typically just addresses the skin.
Facial acupuncture treatments sometimes include massage, guasha and the use of topical serums. Unlike popular injections that freeze or paralyse muscles, acupuncture works from the inside out. It relaxes tight facial tension, tones underlying muscles, and leaves you with a vibrant, youthful glow—completely free of synthetic chemicals. You can choose to have purely facial cosmetic acupuncture treatments, or you can also add microneedling appointments in-between your acupuncture appointments – they work together very well.
Both Lisa and Alan are passionate about facial rejuvenation that makes you glow and radiate health but not at the expense of suppressing your natural expression.
Facial Acupuncture appointments cost between £70-85 and last for 60-90 mins. Microneedling appointments cost £110.
Our facial acupuncturists work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and some weekends.
